What Is Heterotrophs?

Animals and most other organisms take in ready made food prepared by the plants. They are called heterotrophs
  • (heteros = others)

What Are 5 Types Of Heterotrophs?

  1. Carnivorous - Which animals eat only meat
  2.  herbivorous - Which animals eat only                                       plants.
  3. OmnivoresEat things left behin Which.                              animal eat both plants and                                animals.
  4. Scavengers - Eat things left behind.                                         carnivorous and herbivores 
  5. Decomposers - Break down dead.                                                organisms into soil.

  1. Carnivorous - lion, leopard, wolf, polar.                                  bear and etc....
  2. Herbivorous - buffalo, cow, goat, horse,                                    sheep and etc....
