Animals and most other organisms take in ready made food prepared by the plants. They are called heterotrophs

- Carnivorous - Which animals eat only meat
- herbivorous - Which animals eat only plants.
- Omnivores - Eat things left behin Which. animal eat both plants and animals.
- Scavengers - Eat things left behind. carnivorous and herbivores
- Decomposers - Break down dead. organisms into soil.
